Site Index Nursing Research

The primary focus of nursing research is to determine how a culture promoting and enhancing human well-being can identify, support, change, and review standard behavioral models to promote health and improve patient care with good nursing practice.

As professional nurses, we are responsible for making sure both healthy and sick people receive a passionate and compassionate, always informed, care. A model of nursing care based on the currently available best and, whenever possible, research-based practice.

Research and development are an integral and essential part of Nursing.

Nurses are developing their ability to access and use research and, with regards to their skills, to usher major effective changes to nursing practices.

Nursing as a science has its own heritage of knowledge.

It takes commitment to develop nursing if we wish to improve the quality of patient care.
