Dr. Cipriani was appointed Chief of ISMETT’s Clinical Cardiology Unit in May 2022. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery and specialized in Cardiology at the University of Milan. He completed his training and developed his career path at the Cardiology Department “A. De Gasperis” of the Niguarda Ca’ Granda Hospital in Milan, where he served as Deputy Director of the Cardiology 2 – Cardiac Failure and Transplantation Unit. Dr. Cipriani is an expert on all forms of heart failure and relevant state-of-the-art treatments, including heart transplantation and ventricular assist devices (VAD). He has assumed senior executive roles as member of the Italian National Association of Hospital Cardiologists (Associazione Nazionale Medici Cardiologi Ospedalieri – ANMCO).
