The Thoracic Surgery and Lung Transplantation Unit provides patients with integrated care programs for all the diseases that require high-specialty surgery on thoracic organs. Most of the surgical procedures can be performed with a minimally invasive approach (thoracoscopy) to guarantee less stress, less pain, and reduced hospital stay.

The Unit’s physicians evaluate elective cases and patients, emergency cases, outpatients, and referrals from general practitioners.
