Clinical Pathology
The Clinical Pathology Laboratory provides the diagnostic foundation that supports clinical decision-making across the patient care. The Unit offers a broad spectrum of tests, including clinical chemistry, microbiology, genetics, and molecular diagnostics, utilizing state-of-the-art technology to deliver rapid, accurate, and reliable results.
Laboratory data play a critical role throughout every stage of the care pathway, from pre-transplant assessment and perioperative management, to long-term follow-up. Particular emphasis is placed on monitoring organ function in transplant recipients, and supporting safe and effective management of immunosuppressive therapies.
The Laboratory actively participates in accredited quality programs and contributes to innovation initiatives in biotechnology.
