Through these initiatives, IRCCS ISMETT strengthens its role as a reference center for healthcare education at both regional and national levels.

IRCCS ISMETT’s training system is certified according to ISO 9001:2015 standards (EA 37 sector). This certification, combined with JCI standards, ensures high levels of effectiveness and efficiency across all training processes.

IRCCS ISMETT is a Regional CME Provider offering training courses, seminars, and workshops for internal staff and external health care providers.

IRCCS ISMETT physicians work to the highest professional standards across our clinical and surgical specialties, providing accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment pathways for adult and pediatric patients.

In line with its mission to develop highly qualified professionals and share UPMC’s expertise, IRCCS ISMETT organizes courses, workshops, and seminars aimed at continuously updating and enhancing the skills of its medical staff.

IRCCS ISMETT hosts clinical internships for Medical School students and for physicians attending postgraduate medical schools.

Our physicians serve as lecturers and clinical tutors, sharing technical expertise and hands-on experience through an educational approach that integrates theoretical knowledge with clinical practice.
