Established in 2007, Renato Fiandaca Simulation Center is one of ISMETT’s training facilities. It is accredited as an International Training Center of the American Heart Association (AHA) for the delivery of basic and advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation courses.
The Center is based on the model developed by the Peter M. Winter Institute for Simulation, Education and Research in Pittsburgh, with the aim of reducing risks in emergency medical care by providing training in high-fidelity simulated environments.
The Center’s advanced equipment enables the reproduction of a wide range of realistic training scenarios, including:
- Operating rooms and emergency departments.
- Ambulances and emergency response vehicles.
- Complex clinical situations across multiple care settings.
High-fidelity patient simulators reproduce the physiological responses of both adult and pediatric patients, allowing health care providers to develop and refine practical skills in a safe, controlled, and realistic environment.
