Dott.ssa Tarantino Ilaria
Dr. Ilaria Tarantino is Head of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at IRCCS ISMETT.
Having served at IRCCS ISMETT for more than 20 years, she previously led the Endoscopic Ultrasound Service within the Endoscopy Unit.
Dr. Tarantino is a leading figure in gastrointestinal and hepatology research and author of numerous internationally recognized scientific publications. She is actively involved in several committees of the European Society of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy. She is deeply committed to health care quality improvement and medical education. She is also a member of the Italian National Steering Committee responsible for implementing the nationwide network of specialized Pancreas Unit Centers.
Dr. Tarantino has authored more than 250 scientific publications and has achieved an Impact Factor of 26.
